year's
event was held last month in Toronto and has,
of course, been
blogged here at PoMoCon.

event called Eat to the Beat (EttB).
I was thrilled to see some familiar faces like Tall Tara and Crazy
Blogging Canuck (Amber)(both whom I met at the Rocky Mountain Blogger Bash back in August
of last
year), and was glad to put a real live face to a name for peeps like Eat Play Love (Denise), The Casual Perfectionist (JoAnn), Gwen Bell (the organizer
of the
event), Weebles Wobblog (Lori), and This Mama Cooks (Anne - Marie).
The Ultimate Blog Party was one
of the first
events I participated in last
year when I first started
blogging.
The goal
of the day - long
event was to initiate a conversation about yoga and contemporary thought (although those
of us in the
blogging trenches have been doing this for
years).
I met Nicole
of Cedar & Rush at a
blogging event a couple
of years ago and Kelly from Just Browsing at our Sullivan's
event last
year.
Tonight, we're going to a Peruvian inspired pop - up dinner (similar to the one we went to on New
Year's Eve), I'm getting my hair done (follow along on Instagram to see my new «do»), I'm going to a Galentine's Day
blogging event hosted by some
of my sweet friends and then our Super Bowl celebration!
I was going to 2 - 3
events a night per week during my first «real»
year of blogging.
This
year the focus
of the
event is on
blogging your way to expert status.
After
years of speaking
events,
blogging, and teaching workshops, Beth has compiled all the information she's presented into three volumes designed to help authors at every point in their career.
As a far - flung member
of the global climate change
blogging community, focusing specifically on the possible need for sustainable «polar cities» in the far distant future to house potential survivors
of catastrophic global warming
events, in say the
year 2500 or so (okay, so I am being generous; I don't want to be accussed
of fear - mongering in the present).
Interestingly, a few
years later on the way home from a
blogging event I happened to sit in the back
of a plane next to a medical professional who was on his way home from another country.
