Now, let's get the glaze started: simply combine the icing sugar, orange
blossom water, and lemon juice and
mix until there are no sugar lumps (a minute or so).
Gradually
mix the eggs and orange
blossom water into the almond flour mixture until well combined.
Mix the ground almonds, icing sugar and enough orange
blossom water to make a stiff paste.
Add the butter, milk and rosewater or orange
blossom water,
mix well.
Add the vinegar, cornflour and orange
blossom water and
mix on a medium speed for 20 seconds.
For this cocktail I used freshly squeezed orange juice and triple sec that's
mixed with strawberries muddled with Nielsen - Massey Orange
Blossom Water and Nielsen - Massey Pure Vanilla Powder.
Take care to measure your orange
blossom water away from the
mixing bowl, as any extra will easily take this lovely cake from delicately scented, to overly perfumed.
