blueberries and raspberries, or plain
oatmeal with a couple of scrambled egg whites on top, 1 teaspoon of pure maple syrup, and a pinch of sea salt — don't knock it» till you try it!
Make pancakes with 4 egg whites, 1 whole egg, 1/2

blueberries, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and baking powder.

blueberries 5 - 6 raspberries.
My version of it goes like this: 1 - 1.5

blueberries, figs, dates, rasins, prunes, add fresh blackberries and / or raspberries or whatever fruit you want.

cup of broccoli sprouts; for lunch a 16 ounce bowl of 15 bean soup, a slice of Ezekiel bread, 8 ounces of carrots and a large apple for lunch; and for breakfast a banana,
blueberry, strawberry smoothie made with soy milk and ground flax seed along with a 2
cups of steel cut
oatmeal cooked in water with an ounce of raisins and a tablespoon of brown sugar.
When I substitute a small bowl of
oatmeal (1/4
cup dry) with a few
blueberries and cherries instead of the eggs for breakfast (hence less protein but waaay more carbs) I start feeling better.
Although I wouldn't recommend a bushel of
blueberries pre-training, 1/2
cup in your pre-workout
oatmeal is probably not an issue, taking into account digestion / assimilation times.
My plans for preserving our
blueberries into
blueberry granola for the pantry were spot on, and I have been tucking these little peach baked
oatmeal cups into the freezer for a cool fall day when those fresh peaches are long gone!
