your body during labor.

OB - GYN Dr. Christiane Northrup, midwife Ina May Gaskin, and childbirth educator Debra Pascali - Bonaro all agree that under the right circumstances, i.e. when a woman is relaxed (and in my opinion very comfortable with her body), and due to the huge hormonal changes that occur in
the body during labor, a kind of birth ecstasy is possible.
The baby has to deal with whatever you decide to put into
their bodies during labor.
More and more women are deciding that they want to take back control of

With my first, I had problems
during labor (don't get me started) that resulted in an epidural (I wasn't progressing and couldn't relax enough to let my
body do its job; the epidural worked, I was pushing within 15 minutes of receiving it).

body — including your bladder, which may be temporarily swollen from all of the pressure placed on it
during childbirth.
A woman needs to find her own inner resources to work with her
body / mind
during the
labor and birthing process.
From early contractions to
labor contractions, expecting moms deserve (and desire) better information about their
bodies during pregnancy to make more confident decisions.
You could even simply listen to a song you love daily while consciously relaxing; this practice will create a relaxation association in your mind and when you play that song in a cesarean (or

Some
body changes

Some medications you were given
