I have never heard of this exercise but I am curious to give it a shot during my next
lower body session!
If you need more fat loss than muscle building, stick with the three total
body sessions per week.
Second, we want you to work the
whole body each session, which burns more calories and activates more muscle than body - part splits (much of it in your core).
You need to do three total - body strength training sessions per week, or you can do 4 strength training workouts per week, split into two upper and two
lower body sessions.
My common sense tells me it is fine if the forearms are fatigued from the last day's forearm workout going into the full
body sessions because I am using straps on all pulling exercises.
For instance, you could base your first upper - body day around bench presses and rows, do squats on your lower - body day, and then do shoulder work and chinups in your second upper -
body session followed by deadlifts in your second leg day.

After being used to
whole body sessions and more workouts per week it may seem as if you're not doing enough but the point is, you'll be working your muscles very, very intensively and making better use of your time.

lower body session, try glute raises with a resistance band tied around the knees; concentrate on pushing your knees outwards, against the bands, as you raise your hips upward to really get the booty working.

Ditch the split body training and instead work your back muscles into your full
body sessions.

body session that can be used as a finisher or a main workout.
I have been doing some forearm exercises on days between the full
body sessions, particularly wrist curls 3 × 15 and wrist extension 3 × 15.
To summarise, I recommend three options when it comes to lifting: three full
body sessions, a four day upper / lower body split, or a four to five day body part split for the aspiring bodybuilder.
You can use them as workouts on their own, or tack them on to the end of the upper - or lower -
body sessions you're already doing.
