Navio Beach is the one beach where you will find some wave action, if you like
body surfing then bring your boogie boards for some fun under the sun.

On dryland its one thing but if you get a full
body crap in the water and your
surfing big waves, especially over a reef or close to rocky crops
then your screwed!
If you live a bit further from the
surf,
then get in the water as much as possible to keep your
body and mind used to the movement and to keep the progression coming.
If you want to reduce the times your pearl (I can't promise you will not pearl, it happens to all of us) you've got to paddle hard with your
body positioned so that the nose is close the water and
then when you feel the surfboard starting to accelerate, give two more good hard paddles and pop up to your feet and into your
surf stance.
If this is hard for you and your
body is stiff
then it's smart to take up some Yoga beginner classes to help you breath and be more flexible when you learn to
surf.
