launch parties at the bottom of my email signature.

book launches, then you should definitely start contacting reviewers to gauge their potential interest while your
book is still being edited — don't wait until it is completely finished and ready to be released.

tour is also a good way to refresh interest in a title that has already been out for a while.

Even though I strategize

tour at least a week in advance of your release date so followers — yours and the blog's — can begin to look forward to your

launch.
Since my
book launch is on August 30th, when should I start the blog
tour?
As an author who started with traditional publishing in the 80's, my
books launched (jeeze, we didn't even use that phrase then) with an author
tour.
Our panel discusses blog
tours, virtual
book launch parties, using podcasts for publicity, getting
book reviews and more.
It works simply as having a
book launch, blog
tour or eBook giveaway page on your blog and you organize a Goodreads Event with all the details of your events with a link to your promotion page on your blog to direct your event invitees to your blog for your
book launch, blog
tour, author appearance or eBook giveaway.
As you know I am a fellow debut author, and now that my own
launch hoopla and blog
tour mania is behind me, and those fickle Amazon ebook rankings settle,
book club fiction like ours will start its slow progression through the
book clubs of America, seeking its true readers through old - fashioned word - of - mouth recommendations.
I've done a couple of blog
tours tied with
book launches and especially appreciated how diligent the bloggers were at posting their reviews on sites like Amazon and Goodreads as well as their own blogs: that really helped my
books get early traction.
