I lost every bit of composure I've been trying to cling to this week and sat there and cried as my search for one certain photo lead me down the path of looking at every single photo album, his baby book, and all of his art work since he was born!

As I was reading through his baby book, I had to laugh a bit when I read through his favorite foods from the time he started eating real foods.

For babies this could mean little board books or soft toys with lots of «bits» attached.

But I mixed them up a little bit with embellishment - some have a bit of doily love, some have freezer paper stencils, and others have fabric appliqued pieces (with help from a few of the books on my shelves: the squirrel is from Sew Liberated, the birds and chick from Lotta Jansdotter's Simple Sewing for Baby).
