This is a really practical
book which gives advice to a
breastfeeding mother
about how to get more sleep and doesn't make you feel guilty for using your instincts.
She also teaches prenatal
breastfeeding and childbirth classes in the hospital setting, is working on her second
book, and goes around the world speaking to other
breastfeeding professionals
about how to support new families through their
breastfeeding struggles.

I was a new mom, and the only thing I knew
about breastfeeding was from what I read in numerous baby
books, and the horror stories I heard from friends (you know what I'm talking
about).
All the doctors talked
about in this article (and their
book about sleep) is how to get your baby to sleep longer, never once did they mention the important reasons why a baby wants and needs to
breastfeed frequently both during the day and at night.
I asked her recently to write up a few things
about what it was like
breastfeeding at a time where even less women
breastfed than today and there was no internet, no Google to search things up, no information except the odd parenting

I am not saying you need to read every
