If you're brilliant at outlining a
book in a clear and
logical way, or if you're a master at crafting the perfect plot or story arc, you won't necessarily need a big - picture edit.
That's very interesting and surprising but
logical, audio
books can serve as a very relaxing source of entertainment after a hard days work heading back home on the train or during unscheduled recess
in the morning at school when the library hasnt opened yet, it's also a good
way of winding down when the children have been put to bed and you just need an hour by yourself
in the couch without a noisy tv with advertisements interrupting the welcome calm of evening.
So many authors tell us that «there's something
in my
book for everyone» and that's great, but
in this age of divided attention there's simply no
logical way to spread the word about your
book to «everyone.»
Barblan explained Bowker's initial involvement with these partners as a
way to help smaller entities compete more effectively
in the
book market; as so many customers begin their involvement
in publishing by seeking out Bowker as a source of ISBN numbers, the next
logical step was also the need to have trackable metadata and ebook editions of those
books, leading Bowker to explore fulfilling this need
in some
way.

An important aspect of Mr. Monroe's
book is that
in every circumstance where a
logical, financial, physical or theoretical barrier to exploration of the question exists, he either constructs a
way around the barrier or merely assumes away its existence.
