There are the typical collectable knick - knacks, a few piecemeal mini-games, a novel time attack
mode, a
boss rush mode and you might want to replay it co-operatively
with three pals if you can corral that many, yet for all but the most obsessive completionists, there's not a lot here that'll keep you coming back for long.
One
mode is a
boss rush with adjustable difficulty, and the other tasks you to beat the game as one of the enemy types.
Even if you manage to work through all of that, there's a New Game +
mode to complete, a variety of speed - running and
boss rush modes, and a few arcade games to unlock that you can play
with a friend.
There are ton of unlockables, and they are more interesting than in previous entries,
with things like 3 vehicles for each stage or a
boss rush mode.
Along
with a time attack style take on the game (called Babel's Tower) and a
boss rush mode, you'll also find four player co-op support for every
mode.
For starters, the
boss rush mode has been expanded,
with both the normal battles and papercraft battles have ranking systems that give you rewards for doing nearly perfect.
PS4 Version has: • 1080p at 60 fps • There is a «side story» after each chapter now — this gives you more insight into the main cast • There is the After Story I mentioned — this is a new chapter

There is the classic arcade style battle
mode with a surprise
boss battle at the end, as well as Home Run Derby, Multi-man Melee, and Trophy
Rush modes to keep things different over time.
Be they the main game again
with less health, timed
modes featuring completely different characters, or
boss rushes featuring otherwise unseen enemies, this post-story difficulty has become a series - wide staple.
Kirby: Planet Robobot also comes packaged
with a multiplayer
mode that gives multiple players a chance to play as different Kirby's to fight large
bosses in an RPG-esque
boss rush mode.
Earning moons will give players access to another new kingdom
with its own
boss rush mode.

So,
with all that said, here's what you get
with Sonic
Rush: fourteen medium - length linear 2D Sonic the Hedgehog levels full of loops and ramps, seven 3Desque
boss encounters, two playable characters that play identically to one another and traverse the exact same path through the exact same levels, a time attack
mode, seven bonus stages in the style of Sonic the Hedgehog 2's bonus half - pipe, and one final hidden level if all seven emeralds are collected.
I love bullet hell games, and anything
with a
boss rush mode is always fun for me, so when you give me a game that combines both, you can bet it has my attention.
The Arena is essentially a
boss rush mode, pitting you against both mini and regular
bosses in a row
with a hub world in - between that gives you a breather and limited health regeneration.
The three game
modes offer a brutal and unforgiving race for the high score, a
boss rush with creative characters and a PvP arena for two «friends».
Developer Natsume hasn't stopped there when it comes to new features adding a couple of new stages that play just as well if not better than its originals along
with a
boss rush mode and online leaderboards.
As noted earlier, there's two game
modes: «Score
Rush» is the game's version of a campaign where you defeat wave after wave of increasingly more powerful enemies, broken up by
bosses with no saving in between.
Otherwise you're left
with the Arcade
mode (and its different difficulty settings and opponent «routes») and the tough as nails «Legendary Souls»
boss -
rush mode.
