bothers me now is that, in addition to all the problems we already have, there is the element of tactical rigidity

The only thing that
bothers me
about this announcement is that Microsoft not only beat you to the punch with Backwards Compatibility, but you
make it seem as if it's worth the value to stream it when these
games are already released and is playable on next gen consoles.

bothered by the apparent philosophical smugness of the post-mind-control segments too, given how expressly they remained constrained by the
game structure (I'd argue Earthbound chose the «empowering the player» option better in its endgame, and Metal Gear Solid 2 was more honest
about the
game structure's tendency to subtly disempower and disorient; both were wise to save it for the very end, when they stopped
making other demands of the player).
I do nt know anything
about tower of monsters and that too
bothers me i want to at least have a passing familliarity with the ip if not directly than through WOrd of mouth but more often than not i have never heard of the
game and a quick investigation reveals its an indy that looks like an atari
game and plays like something
made for ios or android!
You do know that with many of these microtransaction filled
games they give bonuses in review copies that can
make the experience seem less tedious and more fun
making it so the perception the reviewer gets is that the
game isn't as grind heavy so they don't
bother to talk much
about it, right?
Rather, it's the way the
game actually plays - its fast pace, tricky jumps, and limited number of attempts - what
makes you fondly reminisce
about Mario brothers and the lot, wondering if they could've been
bothered to wear tartan berets and give up plumbing for courier service.
