I bought the coconut butter and it is not the same as the coconut cream.
I highly recommend using store
bought coconut butter for these to keep things as simple as possible.
You could also use 1 cup of store
bought coconut butter instead.
The strawberry batch isn't setting right using store
bought coconut butter.

The main thing to look out for when you are
buying coconut butter is that it's made with 100 % pure coconut.

The recipe you have for
coconut milk requires 3/4 c. water to 2 tbsp of the cream /
butter which turns out to be quite economical compared to
buying the canned milk.
I'm trying to figure out how to budget for healthy foods, and I figure if I
buy coconut oil, instead of
butter for baking, then, this would go a long way towards that goal, and I think
butter isn't as healthy in our world, since it is probably from cows that are fed anti-biotics, and milk that is pasteurized and homogenized, what do you think??

Making nut
butters at home is really rewarding, because they taste so much better than store
bought ones, are usually cheaper, and you can enjoy the cleanest nut
butter ever with just the nut (and optionally
coconut sugar and sea salt) as the only ingredient, instead of a bunch of chemicals and random ingredients that aren't necessary.

I have been seeing

Coconut butter is absolutely gorgeous but it can be very expensive to
buy.
If you prefer a more oily, glossy spread that resembles store -
bought peanut
butter, add 1 teaspoon of extra virgin
coconut oil or 1 tablespoon of regular peanut
butter to the recipe to make it a little oilier in texture.
