When working with store -
bought phyllo dough keep in mind it is usually frozen so defrost in the refrigerator overnight rather than trying to defrost in room temperature and keep the extra dough covered with a damp cloth as you are working with another phyllo dough piece.
Making the dough can be quite time - consuming, but here I've made the process quicker and easier by using store -
bought phyllo pastry instead of the usual yeast dough.
So while some traditionalists may cringe at the idea of using store -
bought phyllo dough, I embrace it.

I made the spinach
phyllo triangles as instructed, but will use 1/2 the amount of dill next time and will try it with egg roll wrappers because my fiance didn't like the flakiness of the
phyllo (store
bought).
If you can not be bothered to make your own bread dough, go ahead and
buy some pre-made (pizza dough will work great as well) or you could encase the veggies in
phyllo pastry.
Some people like making bourekas with puff pastry (store
bought or homemade), while others swear by filo (
phyllo) dough.
