I'm relieved to say that it turned
out to be
bowl - licking scrumptious, adding a new and delicious meal to my
recipe collection and giving me what I'd like to consider something
of a happy ending to my high school woes.
The thing I love most about this
recipe is that it uses just one
bowl and you can utilize the baking time to prep the coconut sprinkles and frosting, then clean up the mess before the cupcakes even come
out of the oven.
(If the pork has released a lot
of liquid, pour it
out of the pot and into the
bowl with the pork pieces before proceeding with the
recipe.)

of the year, but when the weather is cold, nothing is better than a
bowl of hot soup to warm you from the inside
out.
Directions: Butter a loaf pan (the original
recipe uses a silicon loaf pan, so skip the butter if you have one) / Put all the dry ingredients into a large mixing
bowl and mix well / Meanwhile in a small saucepan, melt the butter, remove from the heat, add the maple syrup and water / Add the wet ingredients together with the dry and mix well / Put into your loaf pan and smooth the top with the back
of spoon / Let it sit
out on the counter for at least 2 hours, or all day or even overnight (I've tried all three with good success).
I tried them tonight and they were not a huge a success for me... I used half all - purpose / regular wheat flour and followed the
recipe for the rest, but they turned
out rubbery and stuck to the liner (I forgot to grease them...) I could foresee the final result just by the way the batter looked in the
bowl, kind
of stretchy.
Far from a boring
bowl of plain oats, this
recipe calls for flavorful ingredients that are sure to lure you
out of bed, like apple cider, cinnamon, and vanilla extract for a subtly sweet taste.
Once cooked, use a kitchen towel to handle the hot bones and scoop
out the marrow with the end
of a spoon or a special marrow spoon and spread it like butter on crackers, mix it into a spread or dip for veggies, add a dollop into a
bowl of soup or stew (see
recipe page 72); no great fanfare is needed.
