We've mostly
been spared it with our three
boys so far,
for which we
are thankful, but with enough food sensitivities in the extended family we
're always aware and on the lookout.
We have sooooo very much to
be thankful for this Thanksgiving day, namely the birth of our healthy, beautiful baby
boy — Julian Emerson — who
was born at 2:14 p.m. at our home, after a very fast and intense labor.
I
am so
thankful for my
boys and
for my family and I will love with all of my heart each and every minute I
am breathing.
However it sure made our bond deeper and I
am so
thankful I
was able to stick with it until it became a pleasant and special time
for baby
boy and I. I wanted to create another space that
is comfortable and convenient
for me as I start the newborn nursing journey over again.
Both my husband and I wear our little ones and
are in need of replacements we have 2
boys and 2 girls so us winning any carrier
is a blessing and we
are thankful for the opportunity!
As I
am preparing
for Thanksgiving and all of the chaos associated with it, I
am also thinking about whether or not my
boys really understand what it
is to
be thankful.
This time of year, I love reflecting on everything we can
be thankful for and
boy do I feel blessed.

're having so much fun and catching up like crazy I
'm having no time left
for anything else... times like this makes me sooooo nostalgic but most of all
THANKFUL for family, which
is indeed the most precious thing we all have.
This year I'd like to start my Thanksgiving post by telling you what I
'm most
thankful for - grab your coffee and cozy blankie my friend, this
is a long one:) I
'm thankful I found a church I can call home and I
'm finally developing my relationship with the Lord and learning more and more about his principles which makes me more eager to try and live a more holy life, despite my daily mistakes and deep imperfections I
'm actually trying to overcome then and
be a better person,
for God,
for my family and
for myself... I
'm learning that to make a difference we have to
be different and
boy that
's me!
I love
being a mom, my 2
boys sure keep me on my toes and I
am so very
thankful for them..

be outside and got to beach and go new places im really country

my sisters and I began demanding change and forcing it upon them when necessary... We
were tired of a van service that only took students to a Catholic Church when none of us
were Catholic, we demanded that they invite Nikki Giovanni as a guest speaker (and they did), we researched and slowly changed the face of some of the «required events», we invited teen black
boys from Hartford to spend the day on campus (this made many nervous, including the security guards who would grow frustrated with their inability to curtail this), we grew tired of the school dances that invited other boarding schools and included a DJ that played other music so we invited kids from Hartford, including a DJ and began hosting our own parties... I never forgot who I
was and the rich history of my ancestors...... I
am thankful for my varying educational experiences
for they have shaped the educator that I have become.
We
are thankful to his Guardian Angels
for donations and everyone who worked so hard to try and save this wonderful
boy.
I
am so
thankful for Feline Rescue and the foster parents who took these
boys in until they
were able to find their home with us.

am thankful for my 3 wonderful
boys, who bring so much laughter and silliness into my life.
How I imagine using them
is incorporating them into our dinner table, where we talk about all the great things that happened
for the day with our three
boys, and get a run - down of everything they
are thankful for.
Today, I
am thankful for...... the wonderful preschool teachers my little
boy has, that they
are able to see his unique talents and abilities while understanding he moves to the beat of his own drum.
Each and every day I seek out the blessings in my life and today I have to say that I
am THANKFUL for; * A NO SCHOOL day so I can sleep in a little bit before work, * Both my
boys working, serving and leading within their gifts and skills, * A husband that loves me unconditionally even when I make him absolutely nuts.
