brake rotors still pinging and radiating heat, we decide to lose 750 pounds and climb into the Evora.

The left rear wheel is
still in good shape, with a good caliper, a good
rotor with plenty of thickness and 9/32» of
brake pad lining on both inner and outer
brake pads.
I was grinding metal on metal so I changed the
rotors and put new
brake pads on but
still when I drive it for a little ways you can see black powder on the rims from the
brakes.
I changed the
rotors, pads, fluid, bled them and seated the pads as per manufacturers instructions and the
brakes were
still spongy.

rotors both react to inputs and dissipate heat more quickly than the previous 15.0 - inch front
brakes and are
still cooled by air that has already been heated by the intercoolers and engine radiators.
This would be your
rotors needing replacement, try
braking hard from 50 km / h but not to the extent of hearing the tires squeal or reaching a complete stop, if you feel some vibration in the driving wheel then the
rotors are pretty bad, if not, try the same thing from 100 km / h; if you feel vibration, the damage is somehow less but
still needs changing.

Brake dust will always be a problem with your current pads.When it is due for a
brake job check out several brands as some offer low dust versions.If you are really concerned change the pads now even if they are
still good.The big issue with
brake dust is it is an abrasive.Use something made to wash wheels.It will suspend the grit in a liquid so it can be hosed off.Then apply a polish for wheels.JC whitney at one time offered a
brake shield that mounted between the
rotor and the wheel to keep the dust off the wheel.They were not very pretty but they did work.
Especially with the new Performance Pack, which adds Sachs ZF shocks, 0.5 - inch wider wheels, and bigger
brake rotors with Brembo four - piston front calipers, the BRZ is
still king when it comes to cheap and joyous kicks around a road course.
Michelle has the car now and has about 120,000 miles on it and her mechanic in Maryland (where she is a police officer... and I am so proud of her for that) just told her that at her next oil change she should plan on replacing the from
brake pads... the
rotors still look fine.
If the grinding noise is
still occurring after replacing the
brakes and servicing the
rotors, then it's likely that you have wheel bearings that are starting to wear - or perhaps you have...
The fuel pump regulator went out and cost $ 150 the front
brakes were replaced last year & this year the front & rear
rotors needed replacing costing $ 450 & I
still have squeaking.
We
still have to add the ball joints, outer knuckles, axleshafts, spindles,
brakes, hubs,
rotors, locking nuts, and locking hubs.
2nd wk
still pulling... took back to the dealer and they found that the left front tire was defective and replaced for free... 2) After ~ 13K miles vibration upon applying
brake... dealer stated that
rotors needed to be «turned»... I was outside of 12K miles for what Hyundai calls «adjustments» and so had to pay 3) Dashboard cracked - KNOWN PROB WITH AZERAS - this was what was stated by dealer - My car is garaged and was so very disappointed / frustrated that yet another prob - replaced under warranty 4) Loud noise in Engine.
This is
still just an mule based on a pre-facelift body, but we can
still see the much deeper front spoiler and the bigger
brakes with red calipers and bigger
rotors.
For the first 6 months it was fine... in less than a year I had to replace all
brakes, all
rotors, all calipers, all the tires, all the coils, all the spark plugs, and get the seats professionally cleaned because WATER stains them... I was
STILL having issues with it and no one could seem to find the issue... when we went back to the Hyundai Dealer and they drained my engine they found a ton of metal in the oil pan... the engine is done.
