You'll find this ability, known as Call Followers, in the Story
branch of the skill tree.
Like a hacker faced with multiple firewalls, making progress through the various
branches of the skills tree requires more than just redeeming the points you've earned by growing followers.

As you discover and practice new emotional intelligence
skills, the billions
of microscopic neurons lining the road between the rational and emotional centers
of your brain
branch off small «arms» (much like a
tree) to reach out to the other cells.
«Throw» comes after «Stun» in its specific
branch of the Power
skill tree, so you'll need to put a few levels into the discipline before the cheat can work.

branch skill tree, but it has
of course been tweaked and made better for Borderlands 2.

of different abilities that can be unlocked.
Prey's influences are easy to identify, from the
branching skill trees of Deus Ex to the tailored power - ups
of Bioshock.
OTTTD is from the modern
branch of the tower defense genre that believes the player should constantly be occupied with busywork (something I'm not personally a fan
of), and with that in mind, you get the full smorgasbord
of clickables: controllable heroes (each
of which has their own
skill tree and equipment loadout), upgradeable towers (each
of which can also be converted to one
of two advanced types), and various cooldown - powered hero abilities.
Skill trees have returned to 3.0 with each character having their own dedicated upgrade
tree which is split into four
branches, each dedicated to a specific area
of the character's
skills.
XV's Astral Sphere
tree harks back to FFX's Sphere Grid as well, as each character has their own set
of branching skill sets laid out on a giant circular map.
