Don't just settle for the first
brand of
coconut milk you might find in the baking aisle — also check the international foods aisle as
coconut milk is very popular in a lot of Asian dishes, as well as the natural /
organic aisles of your grocery store.
FYI: a number of almond
milk and
coconut milk brands, not to mention a whole bunch of other
organic foods, also have carrageenan in them.

Coconut milk brands you need to avoid: Native Forest (I know it's
organic but it's also oily as fuck)(which is no bueno) and Natural Value.

Here is my go - to daily recipe: Protein Packed Green Smoothie (Makes 2 servings) 2 cups

milk 1 cup spring water or
coconut water 3 TBS
organic hemp seeds 1 frozen banana 2 cups
organic greens (I love kale, arugula or romaine) 1 TBS
organic almond butter Optional: Add a few drops of liquid stevia for additional sweetness (I use this
brand) Directions: Add all ingredients to a Vitamix or high powered blender and enjoy!
