So I abandoned the whole
yeast bread thing in favor of quick breads and store bought loaves.
(I'm on a
tender bread thing at the moment) I am struck by how salt and sugar amounts are all over the board in batter breads.
I knew for lunch I wanted to make something with those squash blossoms, and I also had some sort of pizza /
flat bread thing on my mind.
I haven't spent as much time experimenting on
breading things with coatings, but most of the reputable recipes I've seen utilize corn starch to do this, although it still won't work as well as an egg in baked - on breading applications.

weird bread thing then topped with thick shredded cheese.
The whole homemade legit
yeasted bread thing is something I enjoy doing with my mom to tradeoff on those long kneading shifts and with actual wheat flour.

If
the bread thing is really presenting a problem try that Neuman's Own Fiber bread....
Canned grated parmesan also is great for
breading things, mixed in equal parts with ground golden flax seeds and almond flour.
Or those dry burger patties with
that bread thing jammed in the middle.
