Now Thanksgiving recently passed and I decided to
break out of the pumpkin pie box and try something a little different.
But we do have another month of summer officially, so I'm trying not to
break out ALL of the pumpkins just yet Today I thought I would share our summery entryway decor.

I didn't even make it to the second week
of September before I was
breaking out the
pumpkin.
Pumpkin is so much a part
of the traditions, aesthetic, and culture
of fall that as soon as the leaves start to change, this many - sized celebrity
of squashes starts to dominate our newsfeeds, grocery store displays, and lattes before we even have time to
break out our UGG boots.
We usually
break out this recipe after making a batch
of our
pumpkin scones.

September is finally here and it's my favorite month
of the year — we have NY fashion week in full force, I
broke out my fall sweaters last week even though the temperatures were still soaring high into the 80's, and
of course the return
of the PSL (
pumpkin spice latte).
It's that time
of year, the kids are back to school, the
pumpkins spice lattes have made their debut and we are all longing to
break out our blanket scarves and booties.
We will remember it fondly, but part
of me is excited to
break out the boots and crush some
pumpkin spice lattes.
Now that
pumpkin spice latte season is here, it's time to start
breaking out the tall boots, sweaters, an maybe a bit
of the spooky stuff.
I've been holding
out on baking Fall treats, I just couldn't get in the mood for
pumpkin with it 101 degrees outside still; but I finally
broke down and opened a can
of Libby's tonight.
I've been savoring every moment
of my favorite month and made sure to
break out the plaid, carve
pumpkins, wear scarves (for each brief chilly moment), and
of course, dance around in fall leaves.
