breakfast every day because I love how fast it is and how much nutrition you can pack into it.

With the old guard of «eating 5 meals a
day» we have people who are frightened if they miss a meal or skip
breakfast because «their metabolisms would slow down.»
I have a lot of love for this post
because I feel exactly the same about porridge — I have it for
breakfast basically every
day (even the hottest summer
day) and often have it for dinner if I've had a big lunch!
I decided to start this as a family tradition,
because it makes Thanksgiving
day breakfast more festive and starts the
day off right... and I just love, love love, yeast buns.
Although there are many answers to that question, this is a great example of a healthy, balanced
breakfast and is one of my favorites
because it's filling, tasty and I get a serving of vegetables in at the start of the
day!
Because of its high protein nutritional quality — quinoa is a complete protein, meaning it has all 10 essential amino acids — and high fiber content — just one cup of cooked quinoa contains 5 grams of satiating fiber — having it for
breakfast will help to arm your body with the tools it needs to get through the
day.
This
breakfast is perfect for fueling your
day because you truly need a big bowl of nourishment to keep your brain on track... or for me, I need it just to make sure I can get from rolling out of bed to that time in the mid-afternoon when I get to either take a shower or do a little yoga on my matt (ie baby is sleeping and not demanding the boob).
I would say that my go to meal would be
breakfast,
because it is honestly appropriate at any time of
day.
I noticed I haven't posted a
breakfast recipe in a really long time — most likely
because it's the time of the
day we're rushing and being busy with eating, getting ready for the
day, making school lunches etc. etc..
It's a great idea to always try to include vegetables into your
breakfast,
because you want to eat plenty of veg throughout the
day, so starting early will help you meet that target.
I remember dearly those
days because no matter what we had we always ended up with a delicious
breakfast and this salsa was always on the menu.
It's going to be a great
day because we are having Jammers for
breakfast.
Full disclosure — I would probably turn down a piece of cake stacked with frosting, not
because I wouldn't want to eat it, but
because I would be trying to make healthy choices to get my
day started — I know, LAME... but I wouldn't turn down this cake for

because it's cold in Newfoundland, my friend eats oatmeal for

My favorite
day is Sunday
because lately it involves a good
breakfast, bike - riding, and beers.
One recipe makes enough for a week's worth of
breakfasts, but my first batch only lasted about three
days because I was eating the stuff by the handful.
It's probably
because breakfast is my favorite meal of the
day and to me there's almost nothing better than waking up to fresh baked goods and a steaming up of tea.
Because of the savoury nature of these pancakes, you could cook a batch for

This Baked Cinnamon French Toast is not something that I would have every

breakfast of old fashioned oats with a banana every

The smoothies are prepped in batches of 2 the night before giving the option of a smoothie for
breakfast and lunch or dinner
because sometimes a
day is a 2 - smoothie - kind - of -
day.
I will still be making soup throughout summer
because I eat soup for either
breakfast or lunch almost every
day.
Because when the bunch of bananas you've been staring at for 4
days finally decides to stop teasing and go all speckle - y soft and sweet — blend a smoothie, freeze for nice cream, caramelize those coins, batch of banana bread or
breakfast cookies here we come.

breakfasts are the perfect place to start
because mornings are the most chaotic time of the
day.
After the fourth
day, I was over it
because I got sick of the same old
breakfast.
In fact, I only have two actual pancake recipes on the blog
because to this
day, I still don't trust myself around those little circles of
breakfast death.
Since sharing my Chocolate Hazelnut Granola with you last month, I've pretty much been enjoying granola for
breakfast every second
day (if not everyday
because it's that good!).

because I would love to start my
day with these little treats.

because I was doing things one handed or soaking up the time with Kyle after he'd been gone all

Crazy timing that I'm making carrot cake right now (for

Vegan overnight oats are one of my favourite quick, easy

because I can make a huge batch at the beginning of the week in about 15 minutes and have
breakfast ready to go for the next 3 - 4
days!
I would eat this for
breakfast because I'm totally cool with dessert - like meals to start the
day, but I might categorize this as a semi-healthy dessert.

Luckily I found it and, after
breakfast the next
day, decided that I am, indeed, a muesli person — just not when the muesli is lacking in the dried fruit department or when it's chock - full of puffed grains (they have their place but that place is not in muesli)--
because Seven Sundays makes muesli that is all that and then some.
This quiche also gets bonus recipe points
because it stays good for a few
days, so that we can all have quiche
breakfasts with a cup of tea in the morning.
The other
day somebody came up to me at an airport while I was waiting on
breakfast and told me he used to be a dish washer and now he's an assistant manager all
because of me.
Put the box of cereal and milk away,
because you deserve a special
breakfast on your
day off.
