Although there are many answers to that question, this is a great example of a healthy, balanced
breakfast and is one of my
favorites because it's filling, tasty and I get a serving of vegetables in at the start of the
day!
My mom and dad used to serve me maple quick oats with a spoonful of peanut butter for
breakfast regularly, and that combination (and then some) remains my
favorite to this
day.
There isn't any reason why I should skip my
favorite meal of the
day, especially when eating
breakfasts make me happy!
Granola is one of my
favorite foods to eat, whether it is for
breakfast, a hiking snack, a crunchy side with my lunch, a simple snack in the middle of the
day or at church when I need a little snack for church.:)
If anyone is keeping score, National Doughnut
Day is actually the first Friday in June, but none of us are complaining to be celebrating one of America's
