At 469 lux on our light meter, the Droid RAZR M's screen is significantly
brighter than the 296 - lux
smartphone category
average, the 213 - lux Samsung Galaxy S III and the 340 - lux Samsung Galaxy Nexus.
Our light meter measured the Honor 8 at 410 nits of brightness — a little below the 436 - nit
average for
smartphones, but
brighter than the Nexus 6P (337), the OnePlus 3 (379) and the ZTE Axon 7 (319).
With a peak brightness of 400 nits, the Z2 Play is just shy of the 439 - nit
smartphone average, but still
brighter than the slightly more expensive OnePlus 5 (384 nits).
That's almost twice as luminous as the
