Brilliant game, I've played
little else since I got it.
I saw the «war perfected» tv spot at least once a night through late february / early march on various channels later in the evening... it is definitely a matter of the playstation 3's current owner base... and a
little less on advertising than a lot of people make it out to be... and its not just advertising; but largely word of mouth... something that killzone as a franchise simply doesn't have yet... but in the end I simply don't know why anyone would care... the
game is still
brilliant, easily the best looking
game of this generation so far... with a multiplayer component that implemented new mechanics that will become standard across the board... and with plans of tons of future DLC, some free, some not... the
game will only get better from here... damn it though I just want GG to get the server lobby right... nothing has been delivered yet on what that douche bag producer kyle guy told us would be there... playing with 2 or 3 friends is easy... playing with 8 non clan members in a full 32 player server is as easy as chewing on your own elbow...
The fact is, both Sony & MS's new consoles are about equal in all facets in reality, both have a similar amount of great exclusives, even to the point of being in similar genres... And regardless of propaganda, media beatups (such as in Driveclubs & Halo's cases)... regardless of the OBVIOUS MAINLY U.S. based media favoritism of there own home grown console manufacturing giant, both machines are great, & so similar in all areas, that choosing between the 2, comes down to all these
little bullshite bits & bops, such as marketing, corporate naming & such... as well as the more
game related things, such as gaming preferences, controllers comfort, online infrastructure, etc, etc.... But, the point is, WHO REALLY CARES??? Who worries about this shite, over actually playing & enjoying such
brilliant games?
I'm not
brilliant at shooters, but I'm reasonably good and can usually come out of a match having gotten at least a few kills for every death or having managed to help push toward the objective, and I look tactical shooters where I can flex my mind a
little and attempt to out think and outmaneuver the enemy forces, but sometimes it's nice to play a
game where it's just carnage.
Considering the vast, cheap, excellent
games library that the DSi has, this is a
brilliant little stocking filler for anyone from the age of 3 to 100, frankly.
This next
game, Earth Defense Force 2025 is basically what Space Invaders looks like in the 21st century, and though it's the latest installment in a series that has been kicking around for about a decade now, what's most
brilliant about it is how
little it's evolved.
With each new Half - Life
game, developer Valve has managed to push the boundaries of first - person shooters a
little farther, and the results have been unequivocably
brilliant.
It's a
brilliant way to deliver both plot and needed info, and makes the player feel in control of how much or how
little of the
game's extra info they really want.
As this
game was built with Unity it isn't an inconceivable wish to see it grace the
brilliant little PlayStation Vita and it would look fantastic on that screen.
The social bluffing nature of the
game makes it absolutely
brilliant for just such a setting, and once a few drinks are flowing it lets everybody relax a
little and start having some fun with the role.
With its flawed map and mode rotation system, and the fact that it could have done with a
little more variation, the
game does have its imperfections, but Splatoon is still a
brilliant and very welcome release that has universal appeal, and it's a
game that shakes up the multiplayer shooter in surprising and remarkable ways.
For most, the price seems a
little outrageous, but spending $ 66 on five CDs seems like a pretty fair deal, especially considering that Breath of the Wild's music library contains
brilliant, sweeping soundscapes that complement the
game's lush sceneries and cinematic environments.
Styx is good
little game but it's not
brilliant on PS4.
Graphically the
game is standard for the PSP, the Gundams themselves look
brilliant, but the problem lies with the bland background all shining low res textures into the screen, and what
little destructible buildings there are all fall down the same, like a planned demolition.
(i don't mean to say that SpaceChem is the
game equivalent of Snow Dogs... i only mean that Quintin may have felt that in addition to building a
brilliant game, Zachtronics deserved a
little more attention for their general briliance, Infiniminer included.)
There have appeared countless clones of this
game, but very
little of them resemble the
brilliant original.
As mentioned, I have no previous experience with the
game so it's probably a
little difficult for me to fully appreciate their inclusion, though I did find Mika
brilliant to play as.
Brilliant colour and characterisation, good soundtrack (although typically with Nintendo
games a
little annoying after too much play!)
We've already got Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, which was a
brilliant distraction for a
little while, but nothing is going to really scratch that itch until Nintendo releases a fully fledge Animal Crossing
game for Switch.
Even when Silent Hill Shattered Memories (a
brilliant re-imaging of the first
game) was released, it just felt too
little, too late to save this beloved genre.
That might be enough for some players, and the
game is certainly gorgeous, but when the genre is filled with
brilliant games, there's
little value in such a flawed one.
Bayonetta may not exactly be a household name, but the two
games carrying her name have been
little short of
brilliant.
