At Arsenal, being the manager, Wenger decides which player is
good enough to be bought, which player is
good enough to play in the first team, which player should start or be «benched», what tactics (formation and style of play) to use, when to
bring on or take off a player (substitutions) during
games, etc..
Up front we have a few world - class players surrounded by some serious pretenders... Sanchez is by far the most accomplished player in our attack but the controversy surrounding his contractual mishandling could see him go before the window closes or most definitely by season's end... obviously a mistake by both parties involved, as Sanchez's exploits have never been more
on display than in North London, but the club's irresponsible wage structure and lack of real intent have been the real undoing in this mess... Lacazette, who I think has some world - class skills as a front man, will only be as
good as the players and system around him, which is troubling due to our current roster and Wenger's love of sideways passing... Walcott should have been sold years ago, enough said, and Welbeck should never have been
brought in from the get - go... both of these players have suffered numerous injuries over their respective careers and neither are
good enough to overcome such difficulties: not to mention, they both are below average first - touch players, which should be the baseline test for any player coming to a Wenger - led Arsenal team... Perez should have been played wide left or never purchased at all; what a huge waste of time and money, which is ridiculous considering our penny pinching ways and the fact that fans had been clamoring for a real striker for years... finally Giroud, the fact that he stills wears the jersey is a direct indictment of this club's failure to get things right... this isn't necessarily an attack
on Giroud because I think he has some highly valued skills, but not for a team that has struggled to take their sideways soccer to the next level, as his presence slows their
game even more, combined with our average, at
best, finishing skills... far too often those in charge have either settled or chosen half - measures and ultimately it is us that suffer because no matter what happens Wenger, Gazidis and Kroenke will always make more money whereas we will always be the ones paying for their mistakes... so every time someone suggests we should just shut - up and support the team just think of all the sacrifices you've made along the way and simply reply... f *** off
And remember we have already won against
Best team of the moment in the group stage, then we know what to expect in the next round,

For a striker that has over 100 caps and nearly 50 goals for one of the
best international sides in the world, and a very
good strike rate for Arsenal when he does get
on the pitch, it must be hard to understand why Arsene Wenger so rarely calls upon his talents in front of goal, or
brings him with no time to influence a
game.
He

Asensio undoubtedly looks set for a big future in the

Although I've found it very cathartic to speak, vent and end occasionally rant about all things Arsenal, we need to act carefully and intelligently right now or we're going to get played by this club even worse than at present... the pro-Wengerites and the suits, who represent a considerable proportion of the season ticket holders, don't want to believe that there is no plan and that Wenger has mailed it in for several years now or that things are going to get much worse before they get
better... why would they... many have spent a considerable sum buying some of the highest priced tickets in the World... they want to have a front row seat to see something special and to be seen doing so, which simply provides ample justification for the expense and the time invested... to many of them, Wenger is the sun in their soccer universe... his awkward disposition, misplaced arrogance and his utter lack of balls makes him a rather unusual cult figure, but the cerebral narrative seemed to embolden those who already felt pretty highly of themselves... many might not even of really liked football that much before his arrival and rarely
games they weren't attending... as such, they desperately believe that Wenger, and only Wenger, can supply them with their required fix... if he goes, they were wrong and that's a tough pill to swallow... they would have to admit that they were duped... they will definitely resent whoever made them feel this way, but of course it will be too late by then... so when we go overboard with ridiculous comments bordering of anarchy, it scares the shit out of them and they shift their blame towards us rather than at those who really perpetrated this act of treason... we aren't the enemy... we simply woke much earlier and the reason our comments have gotten more vile in recent years is out of utter frustration... in order for any real change to occur at this club we need to
bring as many supporters as possible with us or the big money interests will fade and our ultimate objective will be lost... so it's time to focus
on the head instead of the heart for now
I'd prefer to
bring in Martinez, he's young, tall, agile and lots of potential but he's out
on loan so I suppose with not much choice available and with Cech finished (one decent
game against Tottenham) we might as
well give Ospina a run, if only to give us any chance with penalties.
u could even

I would go for same starting 11, actually no, would
bring in sanogo to help bully Anderlecht defense line and perhaps get
on to one of those crosses which were a quite a few in the last
game, i deem him to be physically stronger than welbeck who was left frustrated by the physicality shown by anderlecht defenders and sanogo is
better in the air also.
I do not understand the economics of the business
well enough and there always seems to be contradictory reports about everything (dollars, skills, scheme fit etc.) From my admittedly naive, fan - based vantage point, we needed to strengthen the offensive line and the linebacker corp, add some punch to the running
game (while keeping an eye
on the draft for a fleet - footed youngster), and
bring some leadership to a clubhouse that was akin to Animal House last year (of course, winning makes grown ups out of everyone).
M0rons» logic: Telling AKBs to stop living in the past, all the while
bringing the past to slate Wenger, bunch of hypocrites, very slowly and with some caution people are seeing improvement and potential, we are getting
better whether you like it or not, if we win the next 3
games which are all winnable then will you keep going
on about our great Arsene's credibility?

It sounds ridiculous but hear me out, he always plays attacking football, or as our manager likes to say «approaches the
game with a positive attitude», he knows how to be consistent with his goals (kept Wigan in PL despite everyone saying they would be relegated), also
brought his team to a cup final
on an extremely low budget, was also responsible for the passing philosophy in Swansea, and most importantly, he can nurture YOUNG talent (Lukaku already has 50 goals in England, Delofeu is starting to bloom, Stones is already flourishing,...) Imo someone like Matinez would be the perfect candidate for the job, but he has to prove he can win trophies as
well and challenge in Europe as
well.
Football is an evolving

game on the move with a moving ball every
game is different the knowing opposing players trade run skill is the key all 11 most play with the same key

good you can have messie and renaldo and zidan
on your team but trust me if they are not in tune and
well - tuned a street team from Rochdale would give them a
good hiding the question here is why would you sign a player for 100 million while you can develop 100 players for the same money and
bring your players to dominate football rather than club dominating football with non-national ’s
Nothing like one underachiever blowing smoke up the ass of another... we know that Ozil has some incredible technical gifts, but to be considered the
best you have to
bring more than just assists to the table... for me, a top player has to possess a more
well - rounded
game, which doesn't mean they need to be a beast
on both ends of the pitch, but they must have the ability to take their
game to another level when it matters most... although he amassed some record - like stats early
on, it set the bar too high, so when people expected him to duplicate those numbers each year the pressure seemed to get the
best of our soft - spoken star... obviously that's not an excuse for what has happened in the meantime, but it's important to make note of a few things: (1) his
best year was a transition year for many of the traditionally dominant teams in the EPL, so that clearly made the numbers appear
better than they actually were and (2) Wenger's system, or lack thereof, didn't do him any favours; by playing him out of position and by not acquiring world - class striker and / or right - side forward that would
best fit an Ozil - centered offensive scheme certainly hurt his chances to repeat his earlier peformances, (3) the loss of Cazorla, who took a lot of pressure off Ozil in the midfield and was highly efficient when it came to getting him the ball in space, negatively impacted his effectiveness and (4) he likewise missed a
good chunk of
games and frankly never looked himself when he eventually returned to the field... overall the Ozil experiment has had mixed reviews and rightfully so, but I do have some empathy for the man because he has always carried himself the same way, whether for Real or the German National team, yet he has only suffered any lengthy down periods with Arsenal... to me that goes directly to this club's inability to surround him with the necessary players to succeed, especially for someone who is a pass first type of player; as such, this simply highlights our club's ineffective and antiquated transfer policies... frankly I'm disappointed in both Ozil and our management team for not stepping up when it counted because they had a chance to do something special, but they didn't have it in them... there is no one that
better exemplifies our recent history than Ozil, brief moments of greatness undercut by long periods of disappointing play, only made worse by his mopey posturing like a younger slightly less awkward Wenger... what a terribly waste
Agreed Walcott or Podolski would have been wrong they don't defend when they lose the ball like the others, that's not to say they can't its just to early for them to be any
good I we were 3 0 up then
bring them
on in the 65th to get into the
game To tense to make the call just for
game time Lets hope he starts with them and Rosicky against Southhamton.
Crap performance to have any chance of the league we absolutely have to beat spurs can you imagine instead of iwobi why not
bring on Campbell I feel sorry for that guy every bloody time when the pressure
on we choke this man u team where not even that
good I don't care about the hype we had enough to beat them and o how we miss car zola caus ramsay is but rubbish these last few
games
For now we should be concentrating
on bringing that workman like attitude into more
games, and I think we'd have a
good shout at reclaiming our CL place.
Ox is an excellent player to
bring on to kill off the
game or provide the winner against the tired defenders with his pace, power, and skill
on his
good day too.
Now I think there is still reasons to be cheerful, I agree Man C & Chelski have spent & bought some
good players, we all understand that 5 of those teams might be in the CL proper which is a huge distraction for those 4 - 5 teams.Chelsea will not be able to field the same 13 - 14 players all season, as for Man C they were very frail at the back last season, add to that 2 flying wing backs and I'm not sure they will be any
better this coming season.LFC will most probably have CL as
well if they qualify and haven't exactly bought great players apart from Salah who could be a
good aquasistion for them.Spuds have sold a
good player & strengthened a rival & still not bought a single player yet, Man U have bought 2
good players & in Lukaku have a proven goal scorer in the PL but if they play the same dour way they did last season & with the added
games the CL
brings will they perform week in week out in the league??? As for Everton yes they have released a lot of players and also
brought in a lot too to give
better quality in the squad as they have Europa league the same as US the big difference is I think we will play squad players & youngsters maybe with a few senior players all the way up to the QF This tells me most of our rivals will pave the way for us to field pretty much the same side every weekend in the PL thus giving us an advantage over all the other 5 teams playing in the CL & Europa, just remember the League has been won in the last 2 seasons by teams NOT in Europe YES we are this season but I think Wenger will put all his eggs in the League basket and field an under strength side in all comps hence focusing
on the League until we are no longer in the race.
we can't even get rid of players that have barely mannered to us for several years... which is incredibly annoying considering that our beloved owner would never risk his own financial resources whether he
brought in some new blood or offloaded several failed Wenger projects for less than market value... he would simply make a little less and the burden would fall squarely
on other sources of income, primarily us... I don't know about you but I would gladly use all the money they have been stockpiling to rid ourselves of those that don't meet acceptable standards and to replace them with a few higher priced gems... I know, I know, Wenger and his minions have been scouring the globe for years now to find anyone that was as
good as our current lot to no avail, but I've just got to believe there must be two or three guys somewhere out there that can play this crazy
game
