Hey there, My husband and I made barn doors and have the same hardware however i painted my hardware with
chocolate brown acrylic paint looks awesome.
Home Sign (Source Unknown) hose clamps + chalk paint (white and pastel blue) + stencils
+ brown acrylic paint + fake flowers + jute twine
Cheap brown acrylic paint... brush on the sides and edges... let dry, then rub with Vaseline... rub it in WELL (very important, I learned the hard way!)
Other Equipment: paper towel, paper palette, black acrylic gesso, white acrylic gesso, grey and
dark brown acrylic paint, linseed medium, low odour thinners.
Our front doors are dark wood with frosted glass panels, so I painted the door with
chocolate brown acrylic paint, and then used a light teal color in the window cut outs to mimic the color of the frosted glass.
With my Silhouette (as if that's a surprise;)-RRB-, I made a stencil out of vinyl, transferred the void of the cut out to the chair with masking tape, dabbed on
brown acrylic paint, and peeled the stencil.
