brown after slicing it.

Once baked and golden
brown, I almost hesitated to
slice it, but I didn't think twice
after I took that first bite.
Remove the onion pouch
after about 30 minutes (
slices should be tender and very lightly
browned), and allow beets to continue cooking until easily pierced with fork, about 50 - 60 minutes (could be more for large beets).
Although my banana
slices did n`t quite get all nice and
brown like yours, they were delicious especially
after pouring the honey mixture over it and sprinkling everything with cinnamon.
You can add any veggies of your choice — add some thinly
sliced mushrooms
after sautéing them in olive oil until golden
brown, or add some sautéed assorted bell peppers to give a colorful kick.
They look nicer with a
slice, but the banana turns
brown after a day or so.
To play it safe, either rotate the eggs halfway through cooking or
slice off the
brown bits
after cooking and peeling.
