I believe the blanching in this case refers to the removal of
the brown outer skin of the almonds before they are turned into flour.

So swirl your tapered blending brush over a warm, soft -
brown shadow (only a few shades darker than your natural
skin tone) and blend it into the
outer V of your eye, sweeping it from your lash line to the middle of your crease.
I use medium
brown on the
outer part of my brows, but it does» t work on the inside (maybe due to my oily
skin), so I lightly use the dark
brown with short strokes and it worked great!
Step 2: Then, line along top lashes with
brown (if you're fair) or black pencil, gently pulling the
skin taut at your eye's
outer corner to help make the line even.
