Wet your
brush under running
hot water or fill up your sink with
hot water and leave the
brush in the
water for at least a minute.
Clean the Mandoline and blades with a
brush [my
brush looks like a toothbrush for a giant]
under hot tap
water with just a drop of dish soap.
What I can say for hand - washing, though, is that the best way (speed &
water-wise) is to fill a small dishpan partway with
water, pile in as many dishes as are covered at once, turn off the faucet, take them out one by one, scrub each side with a soaped sponge or
brush, pile up elsewhere, and then rinse the whole pile quickly
under water about as
hot as you can take it.
I simple stick it in the bathtub
under hot water and scrub lightly with a soft bristle scrub
brush and it looks as good as day one.
Do not bathe a dog with a lot of undercoat unless you plan to
brush out the whole dog afterward; if
water and soap get trapped
under thick undercoat, skin irritation and
hot spots can result.
