I've mostly bought games late at night after a long day and a glass of wine when I want something fun to do, so I'll drop 10
bucks on a good game anyday but... now I'm usually out of space, so end up reading a book instead.

better on that end, but I think ultimately the
Bucks» challenge at the PG spot is an offensive one, especially in crunch time when you're playing lots of two - man
game and the defense will very rationally try to make Delly (or Brogdon) rather than Giannis beat them.

game preforms
good on split screen but is small... wish they had simul view back then... I say buy at 20
bucks at highest, beat the
game, get to highest level, then buy the DLC if you can... other then that it repeats with no decision

I'm not saying this to be offensive to Xbox players, I'm just pointing out that the FPS genre in particular does really
well on that platform, it started last gen because FPS was more of a PC genre, and since Xbox is similar to PC from a
game design perspective, a lot of FPS programmers decided to make an extra
buck by porting to Xbox, plus microsoft encouraged them to so that they could get some exclusives, whereas the playstation platform has always focused
on other genres.
Now if the deal was that if you buy the
game for two
bucks you can whip it at Randy Pitchford's face,
well now you might be
on to something.
My wife calls it the zelda
game because it is a top down view
game that focuses
on a room of baddies at a time like the nes zelda
game, and you have an inventory of bombs and keys, and a heart bar like zelda, but the twist is that it is a different run with different power ups that interact with each other in different ways, This
game will stay in my rotation, and for the price tag of 15
bucks for the base
game, and 10
bucks for the dlc it is
well worth the price of admission.
Never mind some kid who * hasn't * played many fighters but finds them interesting might wan na give it a whirl, and nine
bucks may very
well be all he has to spend for the next month
on games.
It was a wonderful
game when I tracked it down for 35
bucks back
on the DS, and (again assuming you like JRPGs) it deserves a chance for 15 dollars as
well.

bucks their way by February 9th in order to make sure they Bartlett defeats the hardest video

game for about 30 hours, the
best part was that they made no questions about anithing and just refund me the 60
bucks

What we need, is a return to
good game design, in
games big enough to be worth that 20
bucks, because these guys cant survive
on those
buck games, and frankly, neither can I. And honestly,
on an even playing field more akin to what we used to have, some of these
games would get noticed for being great
games despite not having the
best production values in the industry, and as a result the next
game would warrant the investment
on higher production values under the promise of an ample return of investment.
If the point of your original article is that developers such as yourself can't possibly survive in this «race to the bottom» indie
game market selling
games for a
buck, that point is completely negated when you say over and over in the comments that in fact your company is doing quite
well for itself and makes tons of money
on its
games.
I absolutely love hitman from
game one to blood money to ascension it's all great including this
game looks fantastic but episodic releases are just wrong and not a very
good way to release a
game all it is, is a way to suck more money outta people if they choose not to drop 60
bucks on it now does square Enix realize how people play

While I haven't played the
game, other than to get an Aurora and, after 2 years, the Avenger while it was
on sale before it got embiggened (though the general consensus is that it's the
best bang for the
buck starter ship wise), I can imagine how it's felt for those for whom it's been buggy, stutterry and / or crashy.
