If it wasn't totally obvious in my most
recent budget post, the obsession I have with this bag is real.
It features two new wardrobe additions, which you probably recognize if you read my
latest budget post!
Outfit posts were the favorite type of post, though general style posts, life - related posts, and
budget posts tied for second.
As a follow up to the 2018
Fashion budget post I did 2 weeks ago, I wanted to touch on how I shop.
In the
paycheck budget post, I mentioned splitting the larger bills in half and paying your smaller bills based on their due dates.
I feel like I've done a pretty solid job at that, especially when you consider how cohesive my more
recent budget posts have been.

budget posts last month did, however, give me the urge to do a quick tally of my year - to - date numbers, and after doing the math, I figured I'd might as well share it with you.

I mentioned in my
July budget post that I had ordered the Halogen «Owen» lace - up flats from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale in chestnut and pewter.
One of my (many) goals for 2014 is sticking to style on a budget, so I couldn't be more excited that we'll be featuring a Bloggers
Who Budget post once a month for all of you!
Hopefully it will arrive soon... Those items will be added to the
next budget post if they're keepers!
* In my
April budget post, I mentioned that I purchased these flats from Nordstrom Rack.
I ended up getting a different size from Nordstrom in the end (and this will be mentioned in my
May budget post).
At this point, a
formal budget post gets tricky with how we're allocating money now that we have a house and we're adjusting to our new financial plan.

budget post will have the rest of my Nordstrom order if I end up liking everything, but other than that I have no purchasing plans right now... That always seems to change, though, in my experience.
I think the c / o items don't need to be in
your budget posts because you didn't actually purchase them.
As I mentioned in my last
budget post, this top runs a bit short and boxy so it can only be worn with my mid - or high - rise bottoms, but it's totally worth it.
I bought a tee from Amour Vert that will be included in next month's
budget post.
