I don't have to miss out on my
buffalo wings!
Recently, I sampled a
buffalo chicken burger at a local favorite market, Stew Leonards, and although it didn't really taste like
buffalo chicken tome, gave me the idea to recreate a burger at home reminiscent of the good «ol college days when
buffalo wings were our favorite midnight snack.
Meanwhile, add enough
buffalo wing sauce to thoroughly coat chicken, then gently heat in microwave until just hot (don't heat chicken until coated with sauce or it will become dry).
As the biggest
buffalo wing chain in the country continues to grow, so
does its selection of delicious sauces.
So I find that a teeny drizzle goes a long way here, and if you finish it with some extra
buffalo wing sauce, you don't need anything else.
The possibilities are endless when it comes to variations on the
buffalo wing, but more often than not, a recipe's end result is something bubbling hot in nature, and while perfect when at home entertaining, it doesn't exactly bode well for outdoor tailgating.
I didn't even know how much I loved
buffalo sauce until Kevin first requested I make him deep - fried hot
wings back when we were first dating.
P.s I've no clue what / have never had
buffalo wings either (I mean whaaa...
buffalos don't have
wings: /?).
Don't get me wrong — I love Frank's and
buffalo wings with the best of them.
How
do the
buffalo wings fit into the egg fast?
One question though —
do you think I could substitute the coleslaw / broccoli for maybe a little chopped celery (ya know,
buffalo wings and celery!)
This is the perfect snack when you are craving the flavor of
buffalo wings but don't want to deal with the hassle of making them.
Lunch was half a steamed sweet potato, semi-frozen broccoli (don't worry, it thawed all the way by lunch time), carrots and a leftover VG
