They would not allow us to use our rear facing carseat because it didn't allow the person in front to recline, and refused to relocate us to
bulkhead seats because babies with bassinets were there (even though those parents weren't paying for the bassinet and we were paying for a seat).
She went back to speak to corporate again and in the mean time I had to appeal to passengers sitting in
the bulkhead seats because Southwest was clearly not going to ask.

Contrary to popular advice, I think it's best to avoid the
bulkhead with older babies and toddlers,
because these
seats offer neither under -
seat space nor
seat pocket, so you'll have to store all your toys and supplies in the overhead compartment.
Because the rear
seats in the SVA don't recline, perhaps the SVO engineers might consider fitting a structural rear
bulkhead to give the Range Rover shell the extra stiffness it probably needs in this luxury limo form.
And folding the Renault's middle
seat forward delivers improved rear vision —
because the headrest no longer blocks said vision, and the Renault's
bulkhead window is wider than the smaller (arguably safer) Ford equivalent.

All the main cabin extra
seats 17 - 19, except for the
bulkhead seats are great, if you can't get B or F. I took this flight instead of going direct from Boston on BA,
because the BA planes are old and uncomfortable.
They are marked as main cabin extra but
because they are
bulkhead, the
seat width is not like the others.
There was tons of room and
because there is no bathroom or galley near the
bulkhead, people don't end up congregating there, which I've always found to be an issue with
bulkhead seats.
