I love the oversize fit because it makes wearing blazers and
bulkier sweaters so easy and the minimal design is timelessly chic.
Would not fit over
a bulky sweater so if that's how you would plan to wear it, then you might want to go up one size.

so happy that it's finally cooling down in LA and that
bulky sweaters are now appropriate for everyday use.
I thought this was a great opportunity to actually wear a
sweater, a scarf, and a puffy vest
so that I would be warm enough on the short walk there but not feel too warm or
bulky when I was navigating the wares.
One thing I would caution about the
sweater dress in general, is that they are kind of misleading in the fact that they seem
bulky so people tend to think they conceal.
After all, the best parkas should make you feel like you're floating around in your duvet haha Make sure to bring
bulky sweaters and lots of layers when you're trying it on
so that you know whether to size up.

sweaters instead of cotton ones, and the result is

There are
so many versions of
sweater dresses, but my favorite kind are ones that are
bulky, not tight, and have a turtleneck.
What I mailed home: blue jeans, a pair of not -
so - comfy ankle boots, about 4 pair of slacks, two
sweaters, and other
bulky items I never wore — and I never missed a one of them.
So, I try to weed out and avoid buying any clothes that are boxy in shape or
bulky, especially jackets and
sweaters that are usually thicker anyway.
The only issue was with my
bulky sweaters, but you would really need a cape for that as they both have dropped shoulders
so are difficult to fit within normal coats.
The high rise makes these perfect to pair with cropped
