bunch of collectables hidden around the world that you can acquire, like animus fragments, documents, treasure maps, bottles, and more, and
side missions like assassinations, Assassin
quests, Ship hunts, managing Kenway's fleet, etc..
Like many RPGs, though Reckoning's
side -
quests are a
bunch of generic tasks that require you to simply go somewhere and kill / collect something, all initiated by NPCs with all the personality
of a brick.
While Gearbox has done a decent job at streamlining
quests, and making
side -
quests easier to follow and more tightly
bunched, it still suffers because
of the god - awful
quest tracking system that only lets you track a single
quest at once.
The premise was simple, but the draw was always the ability to roam freely and figure out a
bunch of different
side stuff that would net you some handy items that would undoubtedly become useful throughout your
quest.
Run, climb, kill orcs, gain intel on captains, and partake in a
bunch of collection
side quests and toy with the Nemesis system.
