The way the seats are arranged reminds me of Business Class on American's 777 - 300ERs and, now that I look at it, the seat looks a bit like the new American
Business Class seat too (although it does look more spacious).

Deals like Europe to the Middle East for $ 1,538.50 and the US to Tokyo for $ 2,172 are exceptionally good value when booked on airlines of the caliber of Etihad and JAL (even after you factor in taxes and fees) and even some of the American Airlines redemptions don't look

seats with 38 ″ of legroom and 19 ″ of width.
the extra back support, is great, the 25 ″ of
seat width is at least 3 ″ more than you get in most
Business Class cabins and I like the big divider between the center
seats too — that makes the center
seats less of a downgrade for solo travelers who book
too late to get a single
seat by the window.

seats and that can only be good news for prices — we've already seen roundtrip Economy fares in the $ 300 — $ 400 range for 2017 and I suspect it won't be long before we'll see some great
Business Class fares appearing
too.
Availability from US airports can be a bit hit or miss but with enough searching it shouldn't be
too difficult to find (I found several
seats in
business class from SFO to HKG just 4 to 5 months out).
It's possible to mix fare
class,
too, so you can book a J, which is a full - fare
business class ticket, on the outbound flight, and D, which is a discounted
business class seat, on the return flight.

There is one toilet in front of 34a / b (acessed by a convenint passageway in front of 36feg) which makes those
seats terrible however you can slip past the curtain into the

I can see how customers might get a skymiles credit card, fly delta, or otherwise earn skymiles being way, way,
too optimistic that when they reach 120,000 miles they will be able to get a
business class seat to Asia without the slightest compromise with respect to dates of travel, itinerary, or just where in Asia they go.
Now, before you get
too excited, the Aer Lingus
Business Class seat is flat, but angled, so it isn't as good as British Airways or other true flatbed
seats.
I took the advice
too literally and was going to wait until exactly 48 hours before my departure to look for an upgrade from my already booked
business to first but I happened to check just now (86 hours before) and 2 first
class seats opened up from ORD - HKG on June 30.
