Smoothie recipe will have you asking for another right away!
Some of my favorites include:
apples, bananas (especially for
smoothies), cherries, strawberries, avocado, cut up veggies, all natural almond
butter or peanut
butter, homemade trail mix, rice cakes, and dark chocolate.
I use quite a bit of almond
butter; it's great in
smoothies, on
apples, or on a spoon straight out of the jar with raw honey for an afternoon energy boost.
Get enough fiber (example: a fiber - packed morning
smoothie, a lentil salad with arugula at lunch (YUM), an
apple with almond
butter, and meat and roasted veggies with avocado and raw kraut will usually do the trick).
I think a good baseline for the breakfast kale
smoothie would be kale,
apple, almond milk (or any other type of dairy free milk) and some protein like nuts / nut
butter.

I make a
smoothie every morning that is 1 cup almond milk, half a fuji
apple (chopped), glob of peanut
butter, a dash of cinnamon and 4 ice cubes.
FRIDAY B — Leftover frozen pancakes warmed in the toaster oven and topped with sweetened whipped cream or
apple butter and
smoothie made with a raw milk and / or kefir base.
Since we're making a green
apple smoothie and all, the obvious combo for me was a generous drizzle of peanut
butter and some homemade peanut
butter banana granola.

Apple Roast lamb + roasted onion, garlic, beetroot, zucchini, carrot (roasted in olive oil +
butter) 3 squares dark chocolate (90 %) English breakfast tea with milk
I do a similar
apple pie
smoothie but I add almond
butter to it - tastes like I've got pie crust and all in there!
