For one, my husband and I absolutely love our cereal in the morning (
just posted this on my site today for homemade granola that we always add to cereal) and for two, peanut
butter and jelly is pretty much the greatest
combo and I can never get enough of it.
Just made these with a
combo of peanut and almond
butter.
There's like a billion recipes that include the
combo which, btw potentially means there's like a billion peanut
butter-less or peanut free recipes out there since you
just swap pumpkin seed
butter or sunflower seed
butter for peanut
butter.
Especially if it's chocolate protein powder (then I usually also mix in that powdered peanut
butter stuff for an awesome
combo that tastes
JUST like dessert!
And this is not
just any boring cake — this is a cake with our absolute favorite flavor
combo — chocolate and peanut
butter.

butter and coconut oil because I like the flavor and moisture both give, but either exclusively as the fat will work

just 1 tablespoon, used Jennie - O Italian turkey sausage in place of the pork / beef

Things I changed: - cut the sugar by about half, using mostly dark brown sugar for the molasses kick - scratched the nutmeg and allspice but added about 1/3 extra of all of the other spices and also added nearly a tsp of ground cardamon - replaced the veggie oil with melted leaf lard - scratched the raisins - baked it on a deep sheet for only ~ 20 minutes -
just barely until firm to the touch - then cut that sheet into three layers - replaced the icing with my own 16 ounce cream cheese, 8 ounce
butter, ~ 6 ounce heavy cream, ~ 5 ounce honey, 1 tsp vanilla
combo - toasted the coconut before dressing the cake.
I LOVE the
combo of chocolate and peanut
butter, but these are
just out of this world AWESOME!
My other variations on this concept have been huge reader hits, and I think you'll love this one
just as much — I totally did — although I'm always up for anything involving the almond
butter & jelly
combo.

butter combo is a favorite of mine I decided to
just throw it all together in one doughnut explosion: Peanut
butter oreo doughnut + peanut
butter glaze + more crushed oreos because that's kind of the most important part.
