I like the addition of coconut oil and the browning of the
butter... I'll bet that
does give really distinct
flavor.
TIP: This recipe calls for coconut
butter (not oil), and although I know that many people don't like coconut, I promise, the chocolate and peanut
butter totally covers up the coconut
flavor.
Since cream cheese has a relatively high fat content, I didn't add in any
butter, but I
did add some dried dill to the bread to give it a nice herby
flavor.
Now I'm figuring out what to
do with the lime -
flavored butter.
Just to play with the
flavor, I used coconut oil in place of the
butter and I used coconut flour in place of the all purpose flour, but of course, you could
do these either way and they'd still be great.

Ann, I've been using expeller pressed coconut oil since my family doesn't like the coconut
flavor of the raw coconut oil, but the expeller pressed has been fine for sauteing onions etc... I also like using ghee which is a clarified
butter.
If you
do, you will get
flavored, sweetened coconut
butter.
I don't think the almond
butter flavor is too noticeable, but if you're not a fan of almonds you could also try this recipe using peanut
butter, cashew
butter, or even sunflower
butter for a nut - free alternative.
But the toasted marshmallow
flavor is also totally present, and the cookie
butter does a phenomenal job of giving you that graham cracker taste.
The filling
does not need any spices; the melted
butter and a little sugar are all one needs to appreciate the amazing
flavor of baked apples.
And, like
butter,
does the paper serve as a catalyst and delivery system —
flavoring the author's words more intensely?
I don't see any reason why you can't freeze the
flavored butter, but wrap it very tightly in several layers to keep it fresh.
I
do not mean to be sanctimonious about ingredients but to compare with the four above, these contain no
butter, but canola oil, palm oil, high fructose corn syrup, cornstarch, baking soda, artificial
flavor and a bunch of other stuff.

It had more of a
butter flavor and for me when I making a cream cheese frosting I want to defintely taste the name of it and this one didn't as it has equal parts of
butter and cream cheese.
You don't taste the coconut
flavor and the oil is more heart healthy than
butter.
I prefer Naturally Nutty brand — I'm not usually a
flavored peanut
butter kinda guy but they have some darn good
flavors (plain too) and they add hemp and flax seed and the resulting texture is very similar to Naturally More but doesn't need refrigeration!
I don't know how well
butter or cream would compliment the
flavors, and I doubt nut flours would blend seamlessly into the sauce; with this one, you're just going for texture alone, and the gums would probably achieve that without compromising
flavor or cooking time.
Peanut
butter does triple duty here as a binder, a source of healthy fats, and a hearty
flavor booster.

flavored because of the bacon & cheese, I'd just
do a simple steaming for the broccoli and the potatoes simple
butter and parsley — you can't go wrong there!
Coconut
butter also becomes rock hard when chilled (and these should be eaten chilled) and has such a strong coconut - y
flavor that the peppermint
flavor didn't shine.

butter means lots of

butter — sounds amazing doesn't it, however there is no real
butter in it, just pure figs — just as tasty and locally sourced, it's is a great substitute during those months you are craving figs but can't find them fresh.
