I have never used
butter flavored coconut oil before, I am going to have to look into that!
Ooh I've never seen
butter flavored coconut oil.
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt
your butter flavored coconut oil.
I used Barlean's
butter flavored coconut oil.
Up until now I've just used
butter flavored coconut oil so I'm really excited.
I used Bob's Red Mill 1/1 GF flour, coconut milk for the milk, and
butter flavored coconut oil for the butter.
For dairy - free, the butter can be replaced with
butter flavored coconut oil and the whipping cream can be replaced with coconut cream.

I feel the
coconut butter may have more
flavor than the oil?
Just to play with the
flavor, I used
coconut oil in place of the
butter and I used
coconut flour in place of the all purpose flour, but of course, you could do these either way and they'd still be great.
Many with Alzheimer's lose their appetite and won't eat, so if they prefer the
flavor of
coconuts over peanut or almond
butter, then maybe they will get some much needed fat into their systems if they eat the
coconut oil while they are refusing the nut
butters.
You can add
coconut, peanut
butter, or more chocolate chips and make your own
flavor combos as well.
Keep the traditional shortbread
