butter is really great to
use in this
recipe as it binds the mixture together and has a chocolately taste but you could also try
using coconut oil instead!

using a strong magimix for things like nut
butters and any
recipes containing dates as these can be quite tough on the food processor.

Using store - bought cashew
butter will not work with the
recipe because the consistency is much thinner than making it homemade in a food processor and the mixture will not be thick enough to form the shape of a cookie.
Unlike most traditional biscuits, where
butter or shortening are cut into the flour, this
