The SpringBoard has just two
buttons along the right side (when you hold it in portrait mode): a sleep / wake / power button, and a volume rocker.
One quirk with the design was the decision to put the power
button along the right side of the device instead of on top like almost every other handset, and it took a little getting used to.
The buttons along the right side of the device appear to be software, not hardware.
Further moving around the hardware, we have nothing but the SIM / microSD slot up top, the power
button along the right side, volume rocker and Bixby shortcut button on the left, and the headphone jack (woo!)
ZTE did a good job with control placement as well, placing the power and volume
buttons along the right side and the fingerprint sensor on the back for easy access.
You'll find volume
buttons along the right side of the device and a USB Type - C port for charging at the bottom.
Notable in the above image is what at first glance may appear to be several extra
buttons along the right side.
Working around the device you'll find the volume rocker, power button and camera
button along the right side; down below is the micro-USB port, the left side of the phone is bare; and up top you'll find the headphone jack.

To control the Pebble Time, you use four plastic

buttons have identical placement as on the 7 - inch tablet, sitting
along the upper -
right side when you hold the device horizontally — and they suffer from the same flat design that makes them hard to find by touch.
The Asus Transformer Prime has a microSD slot, a micro-HDMI port and a volume rocker
along its left
side; a power
button on the far left of its top edge; and a 3.5 mm headphone jack
along its
right side.
There's an on / off
button — which is really just a lock / unlock
button — at the very top and volume controls on the
right side,
along with a Menu

Along the top is the power
button while the 3.5 mm headphone jack is located on the

Beyond the docking port, you have a power

right side of the Torch 9850/9860, you'll find the volume and the play / pause / mute
buttons as well as the device's lone convenience key and the standard 3.5 mm headphone jack.

Despite the significant departure from the norm, there's no mistaking either the Galaxy S6 or the S6 Edge as anything other than a Samsung device, with both devices retaining key signature elements, with classic layout of a physical home
button flanked by Back and Recent Apps keys still found up front,
along with the power
button and volume rocker found on their usual
sides, to the
right and left respectively.
