buy something like that: http://www.sencor.eu/stick-blender/shb-4360 It works on 800w, so I hope it'd be good for blend nuts, grind, make
almond butter and other stuff... based on your experimences with food processors, do you think it worths
buying?
For some reason I can totally justify
buying a 12 dollar jar of
almond butter, but can't bring myself to spend
more than 10 dollars on clothing.
He said this is strange, it's a little soupy,
more the consistency of a milkshake than of the
almond butter we're used to
buying.
However, I'm
more of an
almond butter person and since I just
bought some....
I confess that I have spent lots on money on exotic - sounding / different brands of nut
butters (including chocolate
almond), but I an trying to make my own
more (instead of
buying the natural organic ones or using the but
butter grinders at stores) to save some money.
Though it may cost a bit
more, think of
buying almond butter as investing in your health.
I rarely
buy nut / seed
butters but in this one I used blanched
almond butter that I
bought - I think that roasted
almond butter will be even better (
more flavour).
Nuts are a carbohydrate, so to lower the carbs and increase the fat, I stir in extra oil (I prefer that taste too), even if I
buy almond butter, I stir in
more fat.
I was trying to save money on that particular day, and yet I could have saved far
more by
buying all the available
almond butter.
