buying power with the Manufacturer judging by his comments and thus they would rather have him use

hardware they may soon be unable to sell.

hardware is announced before you think about
buying any of their
older device.

old games that are collecting dust.
(I am getting one on 10/28 for SSOD, mind you) Cons: less powerful
hardware than direct competitors, multi-plat games look worse 80 % of the time on X1 and the other 20 % only look equal to PS4 (never better), less 1st party studios making new games and IPs than competitors, a basically ruined relationship between MS and the consumer due to lies and 180's (makes me happy, wouldn't have ever
bought the X1 if I HAD to get Kinect), I could go on... these are not me bashing the system, they're literally facts Pros: I can watch TV while I play my game, I can «snap» achievements while playing, I can watch football, and then basically nothing else I guess I am
old school and use my game systems for games and media playing only.
So the end result is the same, most people
buy hardware on par with the
old Nehalem.
Anyone else think it's funny that Nintendo went all in this tablet, effectively forcing us to
buy a very expensive controller while putting up with last gen
hardware, and they might switch out Nintendo Land, which is still the best demonstration of the controller, for a ten year
old game that doesn't need the tablet at all?
The biggest dilemma of the console gamers is that once you
buy a home console, you stay at that level of
hardware power until another better model is released which you can replace the
old one with.
Even The Legend of Zelda U is now confirmed to be launching on NX as well which will hurt sales of the game on Wii U, like Twilight Princess did on Gamecube / Wii, as core Nintendo users opt to
buy the game on new
hardware over
old hardware.

buy and play select classics on modern
hardware, Nintendo has consistently brought back its
old games for new audiences.
I understand their hesitation, but I still don't think anyone is
buying current Nintendo
hardware exclusively to play NES and SNES games, so I'm disappointed they're seemingly still too afraid of losing console sales to port
older titles.

old games to play on any
