Buying organic grapes should prevent this exposure.
We strongly recommend
buying organic grapes or grapes grown in the US, as imported grapes often appear on the Environmental Working Group's «Dirty Dozen» — the list of fruits and vegetables found to contain the highest levels of pesticide residues.
Step one:
buy some organic grapes.

For the last couple of weeks I've been
buying organic red seedless
grapes for the same price or LESS than the conventionally grown
grapes.
Dirty Dozen — These are the fruits and veggies that are most commonly contaminated and that you'd be better off
buying organic; strawberries, spinach, nectarines, apples, peaches, pears, cherries,
grapes, celery, tomatoes, sweet bell peppers and potatoes.
At the very least, you're going to want to
buy organic versions of the most pesticide - ridden fruits and vegetables: apples, strawberries,
grapes, celery, peaches, spinach, bell peppers, nectarines, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, snap peas, potatoes, and kale.
If you can't get
organic honey, you can go ahead and
buy it at the health food store and start using it, and then order
organic honey online or
organic wheat grass or
organic grapes.
Be sure to
buy these
organic, because
grapes tend to be treated with a large collection of pesticides during growth, and are often found on the dirty dozen list of the most contaminated fruits and vegetables.
Since raisins are dried
grapes and
grapes are one of the items coated heavily with pesticides, I always
buy organic raisins when possible (plus, they're cheap in both
organic and conventional forms).
