Straddling the line between the G1 Autobots and
Decepticons, and the ones from Bay's movies, Rise of the Dark Spark maintains the high standards established
by High Moon — sure, it's effectively the Ian Malcolm line about standing on the «shoulders of geniuses,» but it's still good.
By completing missions in both the Autobots and
Decepticons campaigns players earn credits and recruit new characters to improve their card collection.
It's a predictable tale of terrorists who are intent on world domination etc etc, led
by an unknown villain who is distinguished
by their raspy voice that sounds like a
Decepticon.
