by Grandparents Plus in partnership with Family Lives, Kinship Connected features one - to - one support from Grandparents Plus project workers, peer support group development, workshops for kinship carers and consultancy services.
The service is an updated and bespoke version of the Big Lottery funded Relative Experience programme previously run
by Grandparents Plus in partnership with Family Lives.
The survey, conducted
by Grandparents Plus and Family Rights Group on behalf of the Kinship Care Alliance, found that 93 % of carers felt that they hadn't been given enough information about finance when they took on care of the children.
The conference starts with findings from a series of research projects carried out
by Grandparents Plus and the University of Bristol.

Grandparents Plus, Kinship Connected will provide one to one support and develop peer support groups for Special Guardians and kinship carers in Barnet, Brent, Bromley, Camden, Enfield, Hackney, Haringey and Southwark.
