At the heart of the Museum's
modern European collection is a world - renowned group of works
by Piet Mondrian, as well as paintings and sculpture
by Constantin Brancusi, Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Fernand Léger, Kazimir Severinovich Malevich and other
masters of the avant - garde.
In the mid-sixties he began creating Pop versions of paintings
by modern masters, including Paul Cezanne (1839 - 1906) and
Piet Mondrian (1872 - 1944), and started screenprinting.
