by modifying the ClockworkMod Recovery so that the first option is «install update.zip from
sdcard» instead of «reboot system now.»
You can then navigate to the /
sdcard / folder
by heading back to the primary «/ Device» partition and opening the «
sdcard» folder.
The internal
SDcard won't be affected
by the installation.
Note that this will delete all the system files, while internal / external
sdcards won't be affected
by this process.
Note that
by unlocking Nexus 4 bootloader you will lose all data and all the other files that are currently stored on its internal
SDcard.
Factory Reset will remove all contents from your device's system partition, while the internal / external
SDcard contents won't be affected
by this process.
Now you can flash the ROM
by selecting «install zip from
SDcard».
To begin flashing the CM9 ROM, go back to the main menu and choose «Install zip from
sdcard» followed
by «Choose zip from
